What I thought:
This book just felt like passingly average fan fiction. The characterization was very "trying to write an AU," the dialogue was fake and forced... I imagine somewhere in the depths of the internet is this exact story about Edward and Bella or something. Probably not Edward, what with the whole surfing thing, but you get my drift.
The reviews for this book were pretty good which was shocking to me. Maybe I just need to stop reading self published ebooks.
