Tie Dye Party!

Chloe & I had a tie dye party this week! And by that, I mean Chloe & I spent two days tie dying by ourselves in the backyard with no one else around. But we had a good time and made some crazy cool stuff.

We dyed a TON- like, 6 shirts, two pairs of shorts, a dress and three yards of fabric, and still had a bit of dye left over. I have a couple pictures under the cut, & also a video which shows off my favorite techniques and also my favorite pieces we dyed.

How To Etch Glass! (& Collaborate with Friends)

A few weeks ago I got together with a couple of friends of mine, Chloe & Jae, both of whom are youtubers as well, and we filmed a couple videos together!

We baked bread from scratch, we did the Harry Potter Tag, and we also did a craft project- we etched glass.
You can check out both Jae & Chloe’s channels to see the other two videos!
Also, I wanted to show a couple of close up pictures of how the projects turned out, so click through to see that!

How I Spent My Saturday Being A Small Child

blogruary
Lately, my husband has been working some crazy freaking hours. Nothing to be unexpected with the military, but still. Lately it’s been a lot of 8pm-830am, which kind of sucks a bit. To make things suck less, I had Chloe stay over this weekend (as I do most weekends, now that I think about it…).

We decided it would be really funny if, when Chris got home at 9am from a long day at work, he found us inside of a huge blanket fort, instead of like, in bed, or on the sofa. Apparently Chloe is a fort EXPERT, so I decided to share with you!

Why My Life is Awesome

I complain a lot. I know I do. But can I just take a quick minute of your time to talk about why my life is awesome? I mean, you guys read about stuff that sucks, so let’s take a bit to slow down and enjoy the little things.

Exploring Charleston!

My friend Chloe and I decided that we wanted to do some Charleston exploring this week, and since we both vlog we had planned to take a bunch of footage and put up a video or two. However, since I’m still learning my new camera, I also took a whole ton of pictures too, which I wanted to share.

We visited Blue Bicycle Books, Marion Square Park, Goorin Brothers Hat Shop & Robot Candy Company- which really are a few of my favorite places in Charleston. Here's my video in which we visit all of these places:
