A few weeks ago I got together with a couple of friends of mine, Chloe & Jae, both of whom are youtubers as well, and we filmed a couple videos together!
We baked bread from scratch, we did the Harry Potter Tag, and we also did a craft project- we etched glass.
You can check out both Jae & Chloe’s channels to see the other two videos!
Also, I wanted to show a couple of close up pictures of how the projects turned out, so click through to see that!

February 2013 Playlist
Have I mentioned that I absolutely love making playlists? I usually make a playlist at least every month or so, and often I don’t do anything with them except listen to them on repeat in my car. I decided that I wanted to start doing a new monthly feature: Playlist of the Month.
I’ll put together a playlist- sometimes themed, sometimes not, and share it with you guys. Plus, I’ll go through and talk about each song and how they fit together. My music taste is pretty random, and, in all honesty, not very good. Don’t expect highbrow music from me. But regardless, here is the February 2013 playlist:

So I went to the movies twice this week. I really like going to the movies- in fact, in high school, I went AT LEAST once a week, but often as many as 3+ times. I saw almost every movie that was in theaters between my sophomore and junior years of high school. The theater near me had $5 movies if you went before 3pm, so I did. Since prices have gone up, my movie viewing has cut back, but this week was like being in high school again.
I saw one movie that was really, really amazing, and one that was really, REALLY bad.

Take your guess.

Letter to [Almost] Fourteen Year Old Jenn
Ten years ago, I was on the brink of turning fourteen. Fourteen is freshman year of high school, first boyfriends, and learning who I was. I truly liked (and still like!) who I was at fourteen, but if I would have had just a few pieces of advice, I think my teenage years could have been just a tad bit better.
So, with the risks of creating a time paradox noted, should this be discovered by an earlier version of myself, A Letter to [Almost] Fourteen Year Old Jenn:

Totally Free Pet Dish Tray
As I’m sure you are all quite aware at this point, I am a little bit obsessed with my cat, Ampersand. The thing is, though, is that despite that love, I’m still pretty cheap- er, frugal. So, I had been using a bit of cardboard left from some other project as a tray to keep her food dish on. It’s been quite a few weeks now, and that bit of cardboard was getting kind of gross.
I wanted to invest in one of those fancy placemat type things from the pet store, but I have a hard time spending $10+ on something that my cat will probably make a mess all over, so I decided to come up with something using what I had at hand.

How I Spent My Saturday Being A Small Child
Lately, my husband has been working some crazy freaking hours. Nothing to be unexpected with the military, but still. Lately it’s been a lot of 8pm-830am, which kind of sucks a bit. To make things suck less, I had Chloe stay over this weekend (as I do most weekends, now that I think about it…).
We decided it would be really funny if, when Chris got home at 9am from a long day at work, he found us inside of a huge blanket fort, instead of like, in bed, or on the sofa. Apparently Chloe is a fort EXPERT, so I decided to share with you!
